I am a descendant of the Koutecký family of Modřejovice, which is in the parish of Slabce. I have done extensive work on both the Slabce and Rousínov records, since Rousínov is the next parish north of Slabce and also contains many Koutecký family records. The work that I have done with these records provides information for anyone who has family in either parish. So these web pages present what I have found.

There are 31 parish registers on the web site of the State Archives at Prague. (Click here to see the SOA Praha web page listing all of the registers.)

• All of the registers are Roman Catholic.
• The records begin in 1669. Births continue to 1911 (despite the 1920 date on register 31). Marriages continue to 1887. Burials continue to 1884.
• The records include the following towns, sometimes in a register all together and sometimes in a separate register for a town. The names listed included the German names for the towns, as well as variant Czech names. The current accepted name for the town is the first name in each case.
