Daniel & James Garland - Marriages - 1780 at Luxulyan, Cornwall, UK
Brothers Daniel and James Garland's consecutive marriages on consecutive pages at Luxulyan in 1780 - 25 May (Thursday): Daniel Garland = Catherine Grose, witnessed by Wm Nanjulian [witness on all Luxulyan marriages of that time] and John Grose - 30 May (Tuesday): James Garland = Martha Peters, witnessed by Wm Nanjulian and Mathew Roberts - The curate mis-spelled Catherine's surname as Groves, but she signed as Grose. ++ Since Daniel & Catherine's last reading of banns was 23 Apr, it seems that they delayed their marriage so that the marriages of the two brothers could be celebrated closer together. == https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11664-11077-14?cc=1769414&wc=MMVH-JPN:n1303245113 == https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11664-15739-83?cc=1769414&wc=MMVH-JPN:n1303245113
