Many people helped me in my youth.
This page is dedicated to those who did so in especially significant way.
The order is roughly chronological.
- Thank You, My Family Elders
My Father and Mother and their Fathers and Mothers and my paternal Grandfather's parents (my Great Grandparents), my Step-Father and Step-Grandparents and my Step-Sisters' Maternal Grandparents, and my Mother's sister and her husband, my Aunt and Uncle, have all been very significant in my life.
- Thank You, Mrs. Laverna Owsley
Mrs. Owsley was an extraordinary teacher. She was my 8th Grade teacher at Bryn Mawr School in Chicago.
- Thank You, Mr. Andrew Comein
Mr. Comein was my Boy Scout Troop Leader, just a small part of the more than 50 years that he devoted to Scouting.
- Thank You, Rev. Edward Tucker
Rev. Ed was our Youth Minister at St. John's Methodist Church in Chicago, leading us in our development during those difficult teenage years.
