In the Name of God Amen the Nyne and Twentyeth day of June In the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred Eighty Seaven; I George Grose of the parishh of Luxulyan in the County of Cornwall yeoman; being sound in Body and perfect ia Remembrance (thanks be given to God for the same) Doe make and Ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and forme following, first I bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God who made me hopeing that through the Meritts of Jesus Christ my Rod amen I shall receive full pardon and free Remission of all my sins; and my Body unto Christian Buiall to be buried in such decent Manner as my Exectrix hereby named shall soonn meete? & Conveaient [Covenant? –dlc] Item I give and bequeath unto the poore of of the parish of Luxulyan the sume of Ten shillings and to the poore Of the parish of Lanivettn the sume of Five shillings to be disposed as my Executrix shall think most fit. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Nicholas Grose One shllling. Item I give & bequeath unto Jane my daughter the wife of John Wellington One shilling. Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Richard the son of Nicholas Grose the sume of Ten shillings to be paid him within one yeare after my death. Item I give and bequeath unto Walter Grose my Grandson the son of the said Nicholas the sume of Ten shillings to be paid him in one yeare after my death. Item I give unto Nicholas Grose my Grandson son of the said Nicholas the sume of Ten shillings to be paid him in one yeare after my deatb. Item I give unto Ann Grose my Grandaughter the daughter of the said Nicholas the sume of Ten shillings to be paid in one year€ after my death. Item I give unto Wiiliam Udy my Grandson One shilling. Iterm I give unto John Udy my Grandson One shilling. Item I give unto Nicholas Udy my Grandson One shilling. Item I give unto Ann Udy my Grandaughter One shilling. Item all the rest of my Goods Chattells Rents and Credits not herein before given and bequeathed I doe give and begueath unto Ann my wife€ whome I doe make ordaine & appoint to be my whole & sole Executrix of this my Will and Testament and doe forsake & make voide all Wills by me formerly made and Declre & pronounce this to be my last Wll & Testament she my Executrix paying my debts and Legacies and doing this my Will performed In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the day and year first above
