In particular, the earliest spellings began with C and included CAME, CEAM, CEAMS, CEAMES. The wills are listed chronologically. This has the effect of listing the C wills before the K wills, since C was used as the first letter of the surnames through the 1736 will, while K was used as the first letter in wills from the 1740 will onward. The links are to FamilySearch images of wills held by Kresen Kernow (formerly the Cornwall Record Office) in record group AP. Thus, the full call number for a specific will referred to as K1191 here would be AP/K/1191. Kresen Kernow does hold additional wills in record group SO, for the years after 1857.
