• Photos » Slide Show		Karel Koutecky Family at Modřejovice I am NOT sure but I believe Karel (born c 1850) is the seated man, so that Anna (Lisnerová) is the seated woman. That would mean that one of the standing young men, probably the older one on the right, is their son Josef. The one standing on the left is probably Vaclav, who came first to Chicago and then to Nebraska soon after this photo would have been taken. (See the PDF file with the complete postcard.)

  		Christening Record of Bozena Koutecky (1877) - in both Czech & English The document is dated 30 Jun 1878 and is an extract from the original record. It is not known if this extract was made while the family was still in Radnice or if it was made after they had arrived in Chicago and then mailed to them. It seems more likely that they were still in Radnice, although this conflicts with Petr Koutecky saying in the 1900 census that he had arrived in the US in 1877. It is possible that Petr came to the US first and that the extract was made and Marie and Bozena then came in 1878. No passenger lists have yet been found for any of them.
