Background
When Jakub/Jacob VLAZNY brought his family from Hůry in southern Bohemia to Chicago, 3-year-old Marie KLABOUCH was with the family. This research note brings together what I have found about Marie KLABOUCH.
Marie's Birth
Marie KLABOUCH's birth/baptism record is at https://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/5227/70
She was originally entered as Marie JIHL-OVA, but the JIHL-OVA was crossed out and replaced with KLABOUCH-OVA and the notation "Legit. per subseq. matrim ..." (there is more that I cannot yet understand) followed in a different hand by "Franz JIHL svedek/Jakub WLAZNY" as witnesses. The first part says that the child's birth was legitimized by the subsequent mariage of the mother.
In the field for father information that was originally left blank an entry was made: "Za otce se hlásal a zapsán býti žádal" meaning he (Jakub KLABOUCH) claimed to be the father of the child and wanted to be put on the record.
But the bottom line is that the 1872 child Marie KLABOUCH was the non-marital daughter of Marie JIHL who was the 1851 non-marital daughter ( https://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/5227/28 ) of the 1824 Marie JIHL (who later married Jakub VLAZNYabout 1858) who was the non-marital daughter of Katerina JIHL who was the daughter of Jiri JIHL and Marie URBANKOVA.
Marie's Childhood in Bohemia
It is not clear what happened in Bohemia. Marie was born and legitimized in 1872. Then she came with her grandmother's family to Chicago in 1875. What happened to her mother Marie JIHL and Marie's husband Jakub KLABOUCH? Why did Marie KLABOUCH at age 3 leave her mother and father and go with her maternal grandmother to Chicago? I do not yet have answers.
Marie's Life in Chicago
I have yet to research what became of Marie in Chicago. There is a Chicago 1 Jan 1890 marriage of a Mary KLABOUCH (18) and Frank HRADEK (23) which may be her (FHL Film 1030187).
