Rousinov (Rakovnik) Church Records

The images the Rousínov church records that were originally on ActaPublia.eu are now at SOA Praha (http://ebadatelna.soapraha.cz).

There are two ways to search for Register Records that contain Rousinov events.

1 - To find the Register Records with Rousinov in the register name, go to the search page ( http://ebadatelna.soapraha.cz/pages/SearchMatrikaPage ) and choose "in register titles" and enter "Rousinov" in the Locality box and click the search button. There are 14 registers, which are considered in detail below. All 14 are now digitized and online. Rousinov was a parish that included the town of Rousinov (the church town) and nearby smaller towns. Some of the registers of the Rousinov church were for the town of Rousinov, but some only included other towns.

2 - To find the Register Records that do not have Rousinov in the name but do contain Rousinov events, go to the search page ( http://ebadatelna.soapraha.cz/pages/SearchMatrikaPage ) and choose "in localities" and enter "Rousinov" in the Locality box. As you type, choices will appear. Select the first choice that is for Community Slabce, District Rakovnik. This will bring up a list of 20 registers (3 from Cista, 1 from Panosi Ujezd, 5 from Petrovice, 3 from Rakovnik, and 8 from Rousinov). All 20 are now digitized and online. At this time (26 Jul 2018), this research note does not include further information about the registers for parishes other than Rousinov.

The earliest books are in Latin. Some books are in German, and some in Czech, and some change from German to Czech. Parts of some entries are also in Latin.

Pre-1828 Registers (Matriky)

Prior to 1828, there were five separate registers for different towns in the parish:

Rousínov 1 = Červený zámek (nynt Krakovec)
Rousínov 2 = Nová Ves
Rousínov 3 = Rousínov [the church town]
Rousínov 4 = Skupa
Rousínov 5 = Žhor

These books begin in 1785 and end at varying times in the 1820's. There are separate sections within each book for baptisms, marriages, and burials, and these do not all end in the same years. Each book also has an index section at the end. However, the ActaPublica image set for book 3 (Rousínov, the church town) is missing the index pages for surnames A-K. For marriages, both the bride and the groom are indexed separately.

 Rousínov 8 contains an index of all records for 1785-1852. But that book is not yet included in the images on ActaPublica.

1828 & Later

Baptisms

Rousínov 6 has baptism images for 1827-1860 but no index.

Rousínov 8 has the 1785-1852 index for the towns of Nová Ves od 1828, Krakovec 1828-1852, Rousínov do 1852.

Rousínov 9 has the 1853-1897 baptisms and the 1853-1860 baptism index for the town of Zhoř od 1862.

Rousínov 10 has the 1853-1889 baptisms and the 1853-1889 baptism index for the town of Nová Ves od 1861.

The Rousínov 8-10 images are not included on ActaPublica yet.

Marriages

Rousínov 8 has the 1785-1852 index for the towns of Nová Ves od 1828, Krakovec 1828-1852, Rousínov do 1852.

Rousínov 11 has the 1827-1900 marriages for the towns of Krakovec and Rousínov 1828-1900, Skupá 1827-1899, Zhoř 1828-1898, and Nová Ves 1831-1897. There is no index.

Rousínov 13 has the index of 1853-1897 marriages.

Rousínov 8, 11 and 13 images are not included in ActaPublica yet.

Burials

Rousínov 8 has the 1785-1852 index for the towns of Nová Ves od 1828, Krakovec 1828-1852, Rousínov do 1852. 

Rousínov 12 has the 1827-1910 burials, including for Nová Ves od 1828.

Rousínov 14 has the index of 1853-1910 burials.

Rousínov 12 images are included in ActaPublica, but Rousínov 8 and 14 images are not included in ActaPublica yet.
