William BURT son of Thomas & Jane - Disambigutation

Four Thomas & Jane BURTs with William Sons

At about the same time in the early 1800's, three couples named Thomas & Jane BURT had sons named William. This research note is intended to disambiguate these three cases, so that future research avoids confusing them. Ultimately, I wish to identify which William BURT married Charlotte BEES 29 Jan 1838 at Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire, Wales.

Here are the three William BURTs and their parents Thomas and Jane, in chronological order by date of birth:

1. c1816 - Gloucestershire - possibly the son of Thomas BURT and Jane Clafield who married 28 No 1813 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
2. 1817-Oct-19 (baptism) - Swanscombe, Kent
3. 1831-Apr-10 (baptism) - Swanage, Dorset - William Webber BURT - This one may have died and been succeeded by the 9 Dec 1832 William.
4. 1832-Dec-9 (baptism) - Swanage, Dorset - William BURT

 There are other William BURTs born to a Thomas BURT in this period but with a mother not named Jane or whose given name is not yet known:

1. c1820 - Hastings, Sussex - son of Thomas BURT and mother not yet known - This William BURT married 21 Oct 1845 at Hastings with Mary SALMON.
