Rev. David Vosecky
Rev. David Vosecky, 44, until recently the minister at Lombard Faith United Methodist Church, died Tuesday, in Community Hospital in Ottawa, Ill. Rev. Vosecky left Faith United six weeks ago to be pastor at United Methodist Church in Marseilles. He held a bachelor`s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois, a master`s in divinity from Garrett Theological Seminary in Evanston, and a doctorate in Christian counseling from Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, Ala. Rev. Vosecky, who spent 10 years at the Lombard church, also was pastor of Little White United Methodist Church in Melrose Park; Pearl City United Methodist Church Parish in Pearl City, Ill.; and Grace United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his parents, Edward and Jacklyn; a sister; and a brother. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church, Marseilles.
