ST. JAMES ??? Services for Lorenz H. Meier, 92, of St. James, formerly of rural Ormsby, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Galena Township, rural Ormsby. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Meier died Monday evening, March 10, 2008, at St. James Medical Center. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at Kramer Family Funeral Home, Trimont, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Lorenz Herman Miller was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Long Lake Township, Watonwan County, son of Henry and Sophia (Mueller) Meier.

Survivors include: wife, Ezurina Meier of St. James; daughters, Audrey Swanson of rural St. James and Jean Peterson of Belle Plaine; son, John Meier of Milwaukee, Wis.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
