John Butson-Ann Painter - Marriage at Kea, Cornwall recorded in Kenwyn - 6 Aug 1819 There is a gap in the Kea marriage register from 22 Jun - 8 Aug 1819, and the marriage is not recorded there (see familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-12433-51941-57). There may be something in the history of the parish of Kea that explains this. Both of them are shown as being from Kenwyn, but the marriage is recorded in the Kenwyn register as being at Kea. == https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11775-48029-76 |

Photos | Ann Painter See comments re the entire photograph of Ann (Painter) [Butson] Holman and her daughter Harriet Ann (Butson) Chenhall.
Harriet Ann (Butson) and her mother, Ann (Painter) Butson Holman According to Elsie (Peggy) Tait, this picture was taken when Harriet Ann Butson was about 20 years of age. Harriet was married on May 12, 1849 in Calstock, Cornwall. She appears quite young in this picture, so the picture may have been taken before she married. Once again we have a mystery because James Stevens Chenhall, the Redruth Photographer, is not listed as a photographer, as early as 1849.
