John Butson - Declaration of Intention to Become US Citizen - 22 Apr 1848 He may be off by a year on his voyage. He appears on the 1840 passenger list that departed 22 Mar. It is possible that he first came in 1839 and then returned to sail back again with his brother Thomas in 1840, but I have found no record of an 1839 voyage. == thanks to Mike Kiernan of the Cornwall Global Migration Programme, who received it from ??? who copied it from the Southwest Wisconsin regional archive at Platteville, Wisconsin == can also be seen at https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1961-30013-1715-76?cc=2046887&wc=MMB6-K98:1518635998 |
