John Gibson in 1847 Pickering Township Directory
Brown's Toronto and Home District Directory, 1846-7. (Part II, page 59) -- [There is no way so far to tell if this is the John Gibson who was the brother of Christopher, who is shown living next to Thomas Johnston and his wife Elizabeth, Christopher's widow, in the 1851 census. So this could be the correct John Gibson or another John Gibson entirely. Note that he is separated from Gibsons on Concession 6 Lots 5, 7 and 8.]
