Benjamin Johnston Anderson, ca. 1926

Benjamin Johnston Anderson, 1854-1943. Benjamin, seen here with his horse and buggy, was my great grandfather. That's a traditional, horse-hide, leather coat that he is wearing so it must have been cold and propbably early Autumn as the leaves are still on teh trees. If you look closely, you can see the buggy whip in the background by his left shoulder. I was able to identify the approximate year that this photograph was taken as another family photograph with the same boarder was dated 1926. It was taken at the Anderson family farm in N. Plantagenet Twp., Prescott Co., Ontario, Canada (Notes from Johnston Family Album @ 2005)
